Selection of Malay Folk Songs

In 1981 Ho Hwee Long was invited to guest conduct in the Philippines with the NIE Symphonic Band. For this occasion he specially arranged the Selection of Malay Folk Songs. The titles of these songs are Geylang Si Paku Geylang (Enchanting Geylang), Dayung Sampan (Rowing the Boat,) Lenggang Kangkong (Swaying Tall Grass referring to the beautiful movements of Malay female dancers), Nona Nona (Young Maidens).
