Philwinds Goes 15th WASBE Conference

The Philharmonic Winds has been invited to perform at the 15th WASBE (World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles) Conference, which will be held in Chiayi, Taiwan.

Widely considered one of the world's most prestigious conferences for wind music, the WASBE Conference will be held from 2 to 9 July 2011. The Philharmonic Winds' concert will be held on 5 July 2011.

We are very honoured to represent Singapore at this event, led by our very own Music Director Leonard Tan and guest conductor Timothy Reynish. We are also proud to be presenting music by local composers to the conference.
